Cooley Construction INC

Based in Hesperia, San Bernardino County, Cooley Construction INC holds California contractor license #348038, classified A (General Engineering). The license was active and clear when this listing was compiled.

General contractors hold the license that lets one company take responsibility for a project involving two or more unrelated trades — a room addition, a whole-house remodel, a garage conversion, a rebuild after fire or water damage. The general pulls the permit, schedules the subcontractors, and answers for the finished result.

Working in the Victor Valley and High Desert: Distances between jobs are long in this part of the county, which shows up in scheduling, trip charges and how quickly a contractor can get back for a callback.

Before you hire any general contractor: On a project of any size, ask for the payment schedule in writing before work starts. California caps the down payment on home improvement contracts at $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less — progress payments after that should track completed work, not the calendar.

License status can change at any time. Confirm license #348038 is current, and check bond and workers’ compensation coverage, using the CSLB license lookup before signing a contract or paying a deposit.
