Troyco Builders

Troyco Builders operates out of Blythe in Riverside County and carries CSLB license #709233, classification B — General Building. At the time this listing was compiled, the license was active with no suspension recorded.

General contractors hold the license that lets one company take responsibility for a project involving two or more unrelated trades — a room addition, a whole-house remodel, a garage conversion, a rebuild after fire or water damage. The general pulls the permit, schedules the subcontractors, and answers for the finished result.

Working in the Colorado River communities: Much of the surrounding area is unincorporated, which means county permitting and, on many parcels, well and septic considerations.

Before you hire any general contractor: Ask which parts of the job are being subcontracted and to whom. A general is entitled to subcontract, but you are entitled to know whether the electrician on your addition is licensed, and to get conditional lien releases as each sub is paid.

License status can change at any time. Confirm license #709233 is current, and check bond and workers’ compensation coverage, using the CSLB license lookup before signing a contract or paying a deposit.
